Rape Guy Ate It and Democrats Throw Votes to Republican Rep. Taylor
#1
PA State Rep Taylor (R-177) re-elected by a healthy margin, again, all on the back of Democratic supporters. Taylor supported Castle Doctrine. His district covers the River Wards in Philadelphia, almost all of it within PA Congressman Bob Brady's district. His opponent was a Chakka Fattah toadie with a criminal record who's campaign office went into disarray 3 weeks ago after senior staffers quit.

And Todd Akin, the "Legitimate Rape" guy ate it at the polls. Maybe in 2014 we'll see some more extremists in both parties eat dust and get their careers ended. If we head over the fiscal cliff without a life raft, it will be fun to watch the elections.

We can only hope.

Amen. This extreme polarization is a failed experiment that is the product of media empires that are the only entities that profit from fomenting division. It's time that the electorate demand that they, and the politicians, rise above it.

I hope that some careers don't end. Guys like Mike Fitzpatrick have the potential of being great statesmen, but to do so he'll have to realize that the Tea Party is a disaster for the Republican party and get back to the traditions of that institution.

What do you mean "If?"

Honestly, we already went over the cliff, we're just waiting to smack into the rocks below.

John Taylor is an R in Philly, and his office runs a very effective community outreach program. He is also involved in the hispanic community down here.

So he is an R and runs his office like the D does here. So no suprise he won...again.

As far as Akin goes, he did not articulate his position with any moral backing to it, he just opened his mouth and inserted his foot. To cap it off the Republicans tossed him under the bus so fast it wasn't funny.

Meanwhile, Jessie Jackson Jr has the senate seat vacated by President Obama, and it would appear that he was the highest bidder for that seat. He has spend over a month in a mental hosptial, and suprise suprise he is under investigation by the DOJ for campaign fund abuse. And with all of that the Democrats rallied around him and stood up to the media FOR him.

So where is the suprise at again???

No, he does not. Jackson is a Representative.
