Right now his standings are favorable to him. I found this poll/article on Maryland Shooters.

There is too many questions about Wolf at this point but if he is the man I suspect he is, his nomination to run the State Police is suspect as well.

Marcus Brown was O'Malley's buddy. O'Malley couldn't give him the top job, in the Baltimore PD, so he gave him the next best thing, the #2 job. Then when the top job for the MdTA came up, he got that. Once former MDSP Superintendent retired, he assumed that O'Malley appointment. In the meantime, O'Malley and Brown touted how Baltimore and the State were made safer, using massaged statistics. The realities are, however, Baltimore became one of the murderous cities in the country. On the meantime, myself and others are being denied a CCW permit because we lacked a "good and substantial reason". Brown, like Sheridan before him, with AG Gansler on board, continued to uphold and tout the success of every piece of anti-gun legislation brought forward. In 2009, for instance, I made over 100, 9-1-1 calls for fights, disturbances, drug deals, etc... When I asked the County for the call records, they found 29. Once O'Malley left office, and Hogan got elected, Brown could see the writing on the wall, he would no longer have O'Malley's protection. The next best thing? Find another liberal, like Wolf to go work for. Wolf, Kane, Brown, is like a nightmarish flashback to O'Malley, Gansler, Brown.... The average PA resident doesn't know his past, but he "looks" like a decent guy, so what the heck.
