I bought this one and love it !!!! Has fine cross hairs and let's in plenty of light.

I will be getting another for my next 10/22.

Or check out rimfire central.

Anything by Nikon. You can get a prostaff 2-7x for around $130. A fixed 4x prostaff can be had for $89 on amazon. It's outstanding glass for the price.

BSA Sweet 22 is nice. I have a couple of them on Glenfield 25s. Look for a sale under 50 bucks as the prices vary widely. Convenient elevation and focus knobs, with nice screw-in caps. Hold zero well, and very bright.

OR do what I did for my '69 vintage 10/22. (I've owned it and shot it since 1976, when it was given to me as a teenager to restore as my first gun.) Go to a gun show and find yourself a 70's vintage Bushnell for 20 bucks or so. 3-9x is the ticket. The old ones just look "right" on the 10/22.

You don't need 9x, except that it allows you to see your results at 50 yards when target shooting. No spotting scope or binoculars required.

Dead stock except for a Brimstone trigger-job, my '69 model makes clover-leafs at 50 yards with an old Bushnell 3-9x that has the appropriate vintage curves.

Good enuf!

In the 3x9 range and on a budget I'd go Nikon or Bushnell. Both are bright and clear....but make sure you get the adjustable objective on whatever you buy as not all scopes are adjustable for parallax at the ranges you shoot a .22.

Simmons. The tube is a little longer than some brands but it's good quality at a great price point. I own BSA, Barska, and Simmons scopes and I put Simmons at the top. It ain't a Nikon but you won't find a better scope under $100 IMO.

Simmons makes an AO scope as well. I have a 3x9 on my 9422M.

I hear Vortex makes some decent glass. Never used one though. Just bought my first Nikon so don't have too much to say just yet. Crystal clear and bright though.

Edit to add, nikon makes a BDC-150 I believe it is that has crosshairs to compensate for bullet drop up to 150 yards designed specifically for. 22LR.

Nikon ProStaff Rimfire ... 3-9x40 with BDC (Bullet Drop reticle)

My wife has one on her 10/22 and it has been great for the price

Another vote for anything from Nikon.
