As a friend and family member to numerous LEO's, I tend to be pro-cop, but when I see this kind of shit I get really pissed-off. A sworn officer is entrusted with the public faith and is given great authority within our society. When that authority is blatantly misused, the whole of society is threatened. This POS should have been fired.

True but I feel he should have been fired too. I mean did you see how he slammed the door so many times! Shit if that would have been a citizen or say for instance a taxi/limo driver they would have been fired on the spot and probably charged with the whole 9 yards. Probation/anger management/ etc.

I agree that he should have been fired. That being said, at least being suspended without pay is better than being suspended with pay or no repercussions at all. It is a small step, but at least it is in the right direction.
Also, I seriously hope they take the officer/department to court and win...

I remember hearing about this just after it happened. His excuse was golden, "We're going to take this video to ID the people who were doing illegal things." He didn't think that one through.

Agreed.
If he was that concerned about IDing the bikers, why not actually stop the bikers he thought were violating the law. I know it is a novel idea to stop the lawbreakers instead of a bystander but come on....
