My S20 project is nearing the end. I enlarged the OEM gas ports to 3/32 and added another port at same diameter. I modded a Vepr .308 handguard and added an AK 74 stock for some wood accents. The shotgun is chopped and permed at 18" with an AK 74 brake. This shotgun will cycle everything now including cheap 2 3/4" birdshot. She is sporting an OEM 10 round 20x70 magazine. I will refine the trigger a little more. I enjoy the S20s even more than my 12s.

Oh man, I really like that!

If you're still looking for trigger upgrades, an ALG can't be beat.

I enjoy modding OEM and Tapco G2 triggers. I make them all single stage so they all are very close to being the same. I might pop the EVL trigger out of my IZ 4433a and try it in my S20 for giggles. I really refined my trigger in my other S20. It's really sweet! I'm hoping the EVL ONE makes drop in triggers for the market one day. He is very a very talented Gunsmith. The nice thing about the OEM hammers is they sit lower than the G2. It reduces your reprofiling and saves you 25.00 and time.I was trying to mod the shorty without doing port work. After taking a little off bottom of BCG and hammer face it became apparent that I really had no other choice. I can't imagine what EVL has to do to get a 6.5" S12 to run period, let alone crap Win Universal.

One thing I like about the ALG is the trigger profile more than anything. I've done enough triggers now though that I could probably match the takeup/reset and pull weight of the ALGs if I tried. I always refined my ALGs anyway.

I thought I would add that for those who are reading "EVL" and have no clue what that means...
