SANTORUM SLAMS ‘POINTING TO THE GUN INSTEAD OF POINTING TO SOCIETY’

Not the best defense but we need as many defenders of our rights as we can get.

Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum (R-PA) took on the issue of gun violence on ABC’s “This Week” panel today, slamming the idea that guns are the reason why violence is increasing.

“50 years ago, you could go on a catalog and buy a gun. There were no restrictions on gun ownership, there were no restrictions on magazines, there were no restrictions on anything, and we had a lot less violence in society than we do today,” Santorum said. “Why do you need to protect Hollywood putting films in front of us that glorify [violence]?”.........

Yeah, I saw Santorum on ABC today and he totally sucked. He was the only pro-gun person out of a six person debate, and never made a single mention about what the second amendment is really for. He never gave a good argument for why so called "assault weapons" and high cap mags are necessary and protected by 2A.

We need someone to talk about how guns were used to defeat the British during the revolutionary war, and that's why we have our freedom. And talk about how US v. Miller proves that 2A specifically protects military style firearms. And talk about how we need these weapons do defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic. How Japan refused to invade the homeland US because "there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." Yet no one does, and anyone who did would be considered an extremist lunatic.

With "friends" like Santorum, who needs enemies?
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

exactly!

Mr. Santorum, like Alex Jones, is not someone we need speaking on behalf of the gun community, if we were to pick some people.

of course being that Rick Santorum is a zealot, it fits right into their agenda.
