Security Warning Signing on?
#1
Anyone else getting a warning when they log on that the website was "signed by an unknown party?"

I'm seeing it too. When accessing the site via https the server is sending a certificate for bigmacktrucks.com. If you accept it actually serves you the content for bigmacktrucks.com as well. Both sites share the same IP. What's probably happening is there is a single https vhost setup on the server which becomes the default for any requests that come in on a particular IP address. While technically correct, it can be somewhat of a nuance with apache.

I've been getting some sort of warning for about a week now.

No warning here but for what it's worth bigmacktrucks.com is another site the owner of this site runs.

I'm running the Chrome browser, what browser do you guys getting the warning use?

I'm running FireFox without any problems.

Firefox, with Adblock. Cool

There is no threat to the forum, but the 2 sites do share the HTTPS certificate. I'll contact the host to see if thee is anyway to separate them.

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

FWIW I was not using https, when I added the "s" I got the following and when I clicked proceed anyway I ended up at the Mack Trucks site.
