Selling my Rugers!!!
#1
Haha,
Only to buy another!!!
Thinking of selling my p95 and my p90 to purchase an sr1911. What do you guys think? My dad always told me to NEVER sell a gun!!! But i dont see an extra $750 in my futureBig Grin

For background I carry the p90 every day in a Fobus paddle. Been waiting for blackhawk to come out with the serpa for it, I'm thinking i'l probably have a shorter wait for them to make the serpa for the sr1911.

Thoughts??
And Glock fans don't even try to drag me over to the dark side!!! lol
Headed to bed, ill check back in the morning.

I was always in the never sell a gun camp...but when the right deal comes along I say go for it. As long as its a 1:1 ratio I don't mind selling a gun. I sold a Glock to buy a Sig(to me a trade-up).

I would caution you to think about your intended uses though. I put my Glock 26 through hell and it ran flawlessly, however I can't bring my self to allow my Sig to go through the same things(like OCing in a downpour or getting it covered in mud). So if you buy something "nicer" make sure you'll have the mindset to treat it no different than what you have now.

Same boat here. Selling P95 with Black Hawk holster, IWB holster, Fobus 2 mag pouch, 2 Ruger 15 rd mags, 2Mecgar 17rd mags, and 200 rds Federal 9mm.

To pay off a RIA Tactical 45 1911 Big Grin

Wish I didn't have to, but the 1911 is just so darn purty Heart

Did any of you guys have issues with the extractor on the P95's? A co-worker has one and he had to slightly bend the extractor to get it to extract correctly.

Nope. Only issues I ever had with the P95 I was the culprit (limp writing after 3 hours of shooting). My P95 was good out of the box.

The sr1911 fits in the serpa 1911 holsters already available. It doesn't have a rail so the standard one will work. And unless you already know where a Ruger is available I wouldn't go selling your guns just yet, they're a little hard to find and you might be waiting a couple of months.
My guns have killed less people than Obama's ATF has.
