Semiautomatic Rifles and Air Rifles Bill
#1
I heard that the bill passed the Senate and so should be heading to the Governor's desk. Any guesses as to whether he will sign it or not? I don't think either the House vote or the Senate vote was veto proof, so there is nothing to force the bill into law.

The Fudds sure seem to be opposed to it, from the posts I saw on Facebook....it's a shame so many hunters are antigun...well, you know, except for their gun.

It looks like both houses voted with a veto proof majority, am I correct?

After much thought on the subject I've come to the conclusion I'm good with no hunting on Sunday's. Keep the Fudds out of the woods for at least one day.
On the other hand that still only leaves me with one day a week to hunt but that's the way it's always been...adds to the challenge.

To those that don't want hunters on their property on a Sunday, they are in their right to close their land on that day. But to deny those with job and family responsibilities that preclude them from hunting on Saturdays to engage in the sport on a Sunday is unsatisfactory.

And given the trend of many churches nowadays, your likely closer to God in the woods than you are in the "church".
