Sen. Feinstein blames NRA on gun control
#1
HINTS AT RETIREMENTBig Grin Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Wednesday blamed the National Rifle Association and partisan gridlock for blocking her efforts to rein in assault weapons, and she vowed to keep pressing for a full Senate vote on the issue.

"People are afraid that the NRA will come into their state with $5 million - in Arkansas, or North Dakota or Montana - and defeat them," she told reporters, following a far-ranging talk at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco.

Feinstein also promised a renewed fight on global warming, saying she would introduce a bill to slap a $10 fee on carbon dioxide emissions.

Shit, put it up for a full senate vote. If it passes, it's not going to make it to the floor of the House when they kick it over to the other side of the building.

Excuse to throw a Victory BBQ.

So she's mad at the NRA for supposedly using money to influence politicians but gives a pass to Bloomberg doing exactly that?

Well Dianne, the NRA is all we have to fight off the likes of you and your ilk. I am pleased to see that you are pissed and the law abiding gun owners are winning the federal battle so far.

How else are we supposed to fight against some old wrinkled hag from a state 3000 mile away that is hell bent on taking away our rights. Imagine if a good percentage of gun owners were NRA members. She'd be even more pissed. Heh.

Hey now, it's common sense that when a pro-gun rights group is funded mostly by small donations from ordinary people it only represents the interest of big-money manufacturers and elites but when a gun control group is funded mostly by one rich mayor it represents the view of the people and the voice of truly democratic ideals.
