SUCKAHS !!!!

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/32567...ng-measure

A sense of the absurd spread on the Senate floor as lawmakers voted a second time within hours to reject a House-passed funding stopgap shortly before a midnight deadline to avoid a government shutdown.

Senators defeated the House proposal along party lines, 54-46 There were no defections. The measure would have delayed the individual mandate, a core piece of the Affordable Care Act, and prevented congressional lawmakers and staff from receiving federal subsidies when they enter healthcare exchanges.

Yes--we are civilized adults. Did you honestly want to kill--as in murder--your parents if they told you that you couldn't stay out past 8pm on a school night or told you that you couldn't spend your Christmas money from grandma on a new power ranger???

I know of no one that wants to kill them but I don't know of anyone that would really cry if they died.

so you have no problem with them screwing you over? civilized people will sit on their asses and continue to do nothing. so much for the patriots who were so bold with posts about being part of the 3% that were ready to fight.

Of course I have a problem with being screwed over--I'm sane. However, because I'm not INsane, I don't fantasize about killing people who try to screw me over (in the non-fun ways).

We have a system to correct the 'screwing' we are seeing right now. It is obviously not as effective as some would like, but it still exists.

The roadies might be out surveying the area, but the stage is not set for some 'take back by force' type of event in which the 3% even matters.

Just like winners write the history which allows them to distinguish and define who are terrorists and who are freedom fighters, so does timing.

Agreed. It is not time for violence. We have other options still at the ballot box. Violence will be met with violence, but until the day our system has been obliterated into non-existence it would be irresponsible to take up arms to fix the current problems. Things will not change as quickly as we all might like, but that doesn't mean change cannot be had without harm to other people.

The idea of genocide or a mass cleansing of those you don't agree with is fascists to say the least.

You wouldn't be able to run as many people over with that car if it didn't drive as far. It should only have a 10 gallon fuel tank.
