Share your "entitlement" program horror stories...
#1
In an effort to make sure my blood pressure never reaches normal levels I thought I would start this thread where we could share our "entitlement" program horror stories that we see in our day to day lives, which are indicative of the slow and painful collapse of our society happening under the dear leader and his parasite cabal.

I'll start off...

On Friday while I was taking cash out of my own pocket to grab lunch while I swung by Wawa the person in line in front of me was a healthy 30 something able-bodied looking white dude wearing a track suit and carrying a gym bag (wonder where he got the money for the membership?), he proceeded to buy $50 worth of the 2oz tiny bottle 5 hour energy shots on his EBT card. I got to the counter and said to the Wawa cashier, "It's amazing what our taxes go to pay for these days isn't it?" loud enough for the dude to hear it. As I was walking out Mr.Tracksuit gave me the finger, I laughed at him to his face and walked out the door. I also find myself wondering if this guy is either on disability or has no job, WTF is he doing that he's short on energy from?

Wulf

When do we break the torches out and make the entitlement madness stop? I must have missed the part where subsisting on 5 hour energy drinks is part of a balanced FDA approved diet, but I imagine he was probably selling them too compounding the fraud that he was already committing.

I've said it before I'll say it again, EBT cards should ONLY be able to buy approved items from military exchanges and state run stores (not to be confused with PLCB state stores). If you want to be a good socialist and get an EBT card you should get the full soviet experience of rationing and being forced to only buy what the state wants you to have.

Also in addition to the 5-hour energy we have this...

Oh, I have been waiting for this thread. I have previously mentioned horror stories from the bank. Tens of thousands of dollars in a bank account, but waiting on an unemployment deposit. I have one that makes my blood boil.

My uncle net a woman years ago, who had a daughter from a past relationship.

This woman, was second generation welfare trash. Knew the system, and how to play it. Despite my uncle trying, the daughter picked up these tricks.

The daughter, who I will refer to as my "cousin".
Has never held a job for more than a week. And has been getting assistance for many years. For her, and her three children. All three to different men, and there isn't a man in her life at this point. That I am aware of at least. I am sure there have been a few.

She was getting a trailer paid for by assistance, that she was renting out for quite a bit of money. All while she lived with her mother.

She hangs out in a convenience store, asking for money to buy milk for her kids, which she then spends on lotto tickets.

Well, a few years ago, she won $10k on a ticket. Blew it all. Got her at that point current boyfriend a car to run in a demo derby, got herself a big TV, a new phone and laptop.

Well for some reason, the welfare office found out about her winnings, and went to see why she didn't claim it. And found another family livin in the location they were paying for.

I thought great, now she will lose her assistance, and have to get a job. Strangely enough she still gets all her assistance. Still doesn't have any job, and is pregnant again.

Glad to see my tax dollars are going to pay for her lotto tickets.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

I usually don't get trickled on this board but now I do. The OP's statement that "EBT cards should ONLY be able to buy approved items from military exchanges and state run stores (not to be confused with PLCB state stores)" is probably the most ludicrous statement I have seen in a long time.

Apparently the OP does not think about the people who build this country and bend over backwards so that HE could have a good education and make something of himself. The same people that were dropped off the grid by the government and the same people who are now relying on SNAP and EBT because our government let them down.

In other words.......you cannot generalize and say that everyone holding a snap card is a leech. A buffed guy buying 50bucks worth of energy drinks is of course ridiculous (I agree there) but this subject is a hot iron and should be handled as one.

I bust my ass 14hours a day (7 days a week) and there is no one more pissed off then me but what I am trying to say is....don't generalize.
"The colors, the colors. Has anybody seen my good friend John?" Then he lit up a banana and he hung up.

Bullshit.

Yes, it's the government that let these people down not themselves or their own communities, able bodied people charging across a city parking lot at full tilt for section 8 vouchers. No generalizing can be made about this scene:

Please...

When you see shit like this EVERY fucking day in this country it ain't a stretch to paint with a wide brush. If you are on an EBT card and are not legitimately disabled, even if you are poor enough to actually need it YOU ARE A LEECH!!!!! I find it stupefying that people think otherwise. Why the hell else did it used to be shameful to get public assistance in this country in the past? Why? Because the people who were getting that assistance knew they were being parasites and were ashamed of it! They took it because they needed it, now it's something to be proud of in our fucked up upside-down society, because it's seen now as pulling one over on "the establishment" and that has become something to be lauded for.

That don't generalize shit is a liberal tactic to try to divert attention from real issues when they manifest in our society. The vast majority of the time stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason (oh shit did I just generalize about generalizing, what ever shall I do?! :O?). Just like how pointing out the things illegal aliens do that are destroying this country and are backed up by facts and statistics is "racist".

My family paid taxes to get me my public education, and now I return the favor, by paying a huge amount more in taxes than my parents did. The vast majority of these EBT clowns are 2nd and 3rd generation welfare, they've never paid a fucking thing into the system, they've just taken. I used to work in a pharmacy where I would see this same EBT and medicaid fraud every fucking day, and it played a huge part in my leaving that job because I couldn't stand what I was seeing. At the time I was poorer than the people I was giving pills to and enabling them so they could turn around sell them on the street and live better than me, the person who actually had a job. I would literally cross my fingers and hope that my car wouldn't break down so I could get to work and possibly make my rent payment at the end of the month otherwise I would be totally screwed while the parasites' rent was covered by uncle sucker. So don't give me that leftist "these people are just down on their luck and need a push" bullshit. I've never in my entire life taken a free program of this nature, I've never even collected unemployment which I paid into and trust me there were a few times over the years where I literally didn't have enough money to buy lunch, let alone put gas in the car, so don't give me that shit. I made it, they can as well. The lack of a safety net is all the incentive 99% of people need to get their asses in gear and do something productive.

If someone wants to suck on the government tit that's fine, but once they've made that choice they have demonstrated they cannot handle living in a free society. It's thinking like yours that leads to people being against drug testing for welfare recipients. Don't like it? Lay off the tit, then come back and join the rest of us in the free world. It's called an incentive. Being on public assistance should be a shameful practice whereby you try everything you can possibly think of to make that last check you got be the last one you ever need until it actually is.

Thanks for playing! Try again!

BTW: The framers and the people who built this country didn't envision EBT and SNAP, it is an abomination created by bleeding hearts who know how best to spend other people's money. This country is supposed to afford you every opportunity to make something of yourself, fuck that up and it's on your head, not mine.

Welfare should be handled like WIC. There should be a list of healthy, basic, staple foods available for families in need. Milk, cereal, cheese, some meats, fruit, veggies, etc....NO soda, NO chips, NO ready-to-eat foods, NO candy, NO lobster, etc. These people find cash for cigarettes and booze and drugs, they can find cash for a bag of chips and a Coke.

Of course, I guess that's a lot to ask....knew a girl who had to beg (several times during the few weeks I knew her) for a few dollars to put in her tank to get home, but she always had plenty of cigarettes on her, and usually a soda.....she was also on EBT, although granted, at least she was trying to work. She had a "bad background check" which made it harder for her to find a job though. She also spent $1,000 on a dog from a pet shop and then had to give it up a month later since the landlord didn't allow pets, and they couldn't get into another apartment in time.

Priorities.....

Anyway its sad that this entitlement mentality is just going down generation after generation. I have some nieces that are second generation entitlement. Frustrating.

Paying nothing into the system and getting $100 from the .gov is bad but paying $50 into it and getting $100 from the .gov is ok?

Those type of people are oxygen wasters and are only here to screw up the nature order of things. What they need is a bullet in the head before they are able to reproduce

What I always say is, We need to take those warning labels off of things like hair dryers and the like. We'll get rid of the stupid people by attrition.

This works well here..

By far one of the greatest hurdles we face in this country (and throughout too many parts of the world) is the enormous industry that seeks to preserve the shallow end of the gene pool.

Some people just need a helping hand while they regain stable footing. For the rest, the abusers, gimme some natural selection. The dilemma lies in how to do it. My fear is that a government large and intrusive enough to stop the abuse may become even more onerous than the entitlement industry.

We're painting ourselves into a corner, and the solutions look as painful as the problem. It's like we're all on a luxury-liner, headed for a waterfall, and the crew is on acid.

I see it occasionally, the Mrs sees it everyday.
So what do we do about it?
What can we do about it?

Those EBT cards should play a song when you pull them out, like those hallmark cards that play songs when you open them. Something like, "look at me, I got an EBT, just swipe and it's free!"

Maybe people will think twice before using it.
