Shopping for G26 Gen4
#1
Decided to look for a new G26 Gen4 to use as pocket carry. I want to stick with 9mm and as a lefty, I can switch around the mag release on the Gen4. Contacted close to two dozen gun shops in the Greater Philadelphia area and only found two. Best price with 3 mags is $570.00 + tax & PICS. Looked at half dozen on-line stores, all out of stock and even if would have been in stock, price was higher not including shipping and transfer fees, etc.

I also like the idea of buying from a local mom & pop, but before I pull the trigger on the cheaper of two available, anyone seen one at a better price? Thanks.

I saw a Gen 4 at Tanner's two days ago. It was either a G26 or a G27. Give them a call tomorrow.

Ok, thanks. I actually called them earlier but the number was busy. I managed to place the one on hold briefly, but I'll try Tanners again first thing in the morning. Given the scarcity of the Gen4, or even Gen3 right now, I'm betting the current price I have will be hard to beat.

I think you will be hard pressed to find a better price. I have no facts supporting this but I think prices have gone up on Glocks for the dealers as all my local shops that were selling them for high 400s or low 500s are all now up intothe 570+ range.

The Glock 21 I bought recently was $575 and normally the shop I picked it up from has some of the best prices around.

Thanks. I went ahead and picked-up the one from the local dealer. Looks like your guy has a little bit better price, but a trip to Lake Wallenpaupack and back in my truck would more than eat the difference!

i don't mind paying a little extra from my local shop because i want them to stay in business.

if they were to ban internet sales which they are trying to do i want my local guy to be around
