Should Bucks County Invest in Guns?

Quote:It’s no secret Bucks County spends millions of dollars each year to combat and prosecute gun crime.
What’s harder to figure out — even for a county commissioner — is just how much the government invests in gun manufacturing and sales.
Commissioner Diane Marseglia said she’s spent more than a month investigating the county’s pension fund and a portfolio of investments, which includes some gun makers and distributors.

The U.S. Conference of Mayors urged all local and state governments to cut ties with ‘irresponsible’ gun companies in the wake of the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, which left 20 children and six adults dead.
