My XD-S 9mm has serial number that falls in the specified range but the site states my firearm is not on the recall list. I've emailed Springfield Armory for clarification.

My XDS .45 is on the list. However, I'm waiting to hear from Powder River Precision as I removed the stock springs and replaced them with the PRP reduced power spring kit to reduce the trigger pull.

At this point I don;t know what SA is going to be replacing.

Mine's in the range. Guess I'll have to contact SA. Wonder what the recall is.

Found out that they are replacing the grip safety and the disconnector. Everything else should be left alone. It's in the box and I have to drop it off to FedEx after work.

What a pain in the butt. Have ship by FedEx from a Center. Closest one is an hour away at Chester Springs. Then I would have to use annual leave to wait for it on its return.

I sent them an email to arrange for the shipping label to be generated by my FFL for shipment and return.

Hopefully they cooperate.

Did they get back to you?

No, they didn't. It will probably cost less to ship it through my FFL than drive out to Chester Springs.
