Changed my mind, DDI-12 should be in by the end of week from Atlantic. Utilizes many of the things I have already bought for the Saiga.

Not to shit in your Wheaties or derail this thread but, keep a VERY close eye on the bolt and the locking lugs on those DDI 12'S. Read this http://www.vepr.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4921 Hold the sellers feet to the fire brother if anything seems out of place at all.

I'm going for the derail. Big Grin

I've seen different takes on this thing...which is about par for anything...but the only way to truly know is to run it. If it fails you can bet I'll be bitching.
The real selling point for me was that I could use the drums I bought for the Saiga in this as well. The problem is every time I have the Saiga out everyone wants to shoot it, I'd rather beat this one up.
I guess we'll see what happens, keep tuned in for the range report.

Hey guys, I'm new to this site and just got my SKO12. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to take the bcg apart?  Need to lube it before first use. The owners manual does not help very much; just to clarify, I'm very familiar w/the AR/M4 platform
