State Trooper killed in collision with semi-truck

A Pennsylvania State Trooper was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Beaver County.

The trooper was a 27 year veteran of the force who was married with two kids.

RIP my brother.

He was the sort of person who stood on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting "All the Gods are bastards."
That sucks.

Thoughts go out to his family.

Speed is fine, accuracy is final.

U.S. Navy veteran
I'd heard a tractor trailer blew a stop sign and t-boned his patrol car. His wife worked at the same station. He also left behind two children. RIP.....

He was due to retire in December. Probably counting the days as we often do when we're that close.
He was the sort of person who stood on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting "All the Gods are bastards."

Trooper 1st Class Blake T. Coble, 47, who was attached to the Brighton Township barracks, was patrolling about 10 a.m. on Route 251 when he was struck by a flatbed-trailer truck driven by Gregory Golkosky, 47, of Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, at the intersection with Route 168, state police reported.

The report said Golkosky drove through a stop sign at the intersection and struck the driver's side of Coble's vehicle. The accident left Coble's vehicle under the truck, according to the 911 emergency dispatch call.

Damn truck driver :@

What a senseless tragedy, especially for his widow and kids.

RIP Tpr. Coble
Tragic loss compounded by the fact that he would've retired at the end of the year. I hope the truck driver pays a hefty price for his careless driving.
