Sticky for the NFA section
#1
I see that there are no threads here, has anyone been assigned to make a sticky regarding NFA items? If not, I'll gladly write up an article over the weekend.

Yes, if you are willing to do a write up, we'll make it sticky!

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Consider it done! I'll try to have it done by Saturday night.

Can't think of too many other people that would be fit to write such a sticky Smile

If you dive into instructions for the forms it would be nice to see a separate set for corporations. The tutorials I found online have sections for "trusts and corporations" but in reality they were written for trusts with some notes mentioning corporations. There are enough subtle differences here and there between the two and I found the general lack of clear and concise instructions specific to a corporation to be a bit frustrating.

Thank you! I will do my best to address that issue, but I can't get too in depth about corporations, because I've never used a corp to acquire nfa items. You are best off getting a lawyer for that anyway. I can, however, explain some of the differences between trusts and corps, and the pros and cons of each. I can also explain more about trusts since I use one myself.

I already started the write-up today. So far it's almost three pages in Microsoft word, but it will be worth taking the time to read. I'm doing my best to keep it well organized, clean, and easy to read. I think you'll like it.

Agreed on the lawyer part, especially for creating the corporation. I meant specifically filling out the forms, not the actual creation of the corporation. I'd offer to put up some sample forms using a corporation but none of mine have been approved yet so I'm not sure they could be considered "the right way" yet.

Bac0nfat,

I have friends down your way and plan to shoot at Target Master in the next week or two. Maybe we can meet I check out your stuff.
I produced precise formulations for what you call, "Black Powder," for General Washington. If not for me, you would be speaking the Queen's English today. Say my name, which you cannot find with an internet search, proud to be a member of pa2a.org since Sep 2012.
