i've noticed that when i oc people are extremely well mannered and polite, but when i'm cc i don't get shit, what am i missing here?, does the sight of a gun really motivate politeness or am i kidding myself, they just don't want to get shot by being rude... lol

An armed society is a polite society.

I haven't noticed anyone going out of their way to be polite to me when I oc. I have noticed less people being impolite though.

I will say that I am more polite when I oc.

I had a complete asshole suddenly turn into a distinguished gentleman when he finally noticed I was OC'ing. So yeah, it makes a difference... Wink
My guidance counselor said I wouldn't amount to anything... Lucky guess! Dodgy

I've had a couple people get assy -because- they saw me OCing.

Generally no one really fucks with me one way or another.

A similar thing happens when riding a motorcycle.

If you ride solo, everyone will screw with you or 'forget' to use extra caution and leave extra spacing.

Ride two or more (the more the better) and everyone thinks you are a club and they don't want to draw attention to themselves so they are 'more polite' with the road rules. They are afraid of being swarmed.

Could some of that be because they may be able to see more than one bike a little better. (actual curiousity)

My guess is that yes, you're kidding yourself. It's easy to see the world differently when you OC. Some of that may be good, some not so much.

My guess, is since you're OC'ing and your situational awareness is higher, you pay a little more attention and notice things a little faster...

^This. I have worked as an armed guard at a location where there were both armed and unarmed guards. I would get all kinds of crap from people who assumed I wasn't carrying. The second they realized I was carrying it was like night and day.
