I just came back. The Garands weren't in good enough condition for me to buy. If I was an experienced Garand owner (I don't own any), then I might consider picking one up and restoring it. They had a lot of used .38 special revolvers at great prices and Glock police trade-ins. Other than that, I wasn't too impressed with the rest of the selection and prices.

if you want a garand you should really look into the cmp (assuming you have not already), best deal around.

I want a garand, but I don't have that kind of money for one right now. If those $600 garands were in better condition, then I wouldn't pass up on them. In a few years, hopefully, one will be sitting in my collection. Realistically, my next purchase will more than likely be a .22LR pistol and/or a 1911 .45acp.

Assuming those 686's are new, that's a very very good deal.

Too bad the place is across the state.
