Target: "Please, Leave Your Guns Home."

Gettin' real sick of your shit, Open Carry Texas...

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/07...pen-carry/

"As you’ve likely seen in the media, there has been a debate about whether guests in communities that permit “open carry” should be allowed to bring firearms into Target stores. Our approach has always been to follow local laws, and of course, we will continue to do so. But starting today we will also respectfully request that guests not bring firearms to Target – even in communities where it is permitted by law."

Target doesn't sell anything I can't buy somewhere else. Shrug

Well... No more Target for me. It is certainly their right to deny firearms in their stores, and while I understand their reasoning, I certainly won't bring them any more of my business. No more than I would patronize a store that had a sign that said "no Jews" or "no Ni##ers".

Yep, now Mommybears will show up en masse and annoy the shit out of even more people to get what their handlers want.

That could be a bonanza for MILF hunters. A predator's dream, since none of them are armed.

Target is geared towards soccer moms anyways. Their credit card system has done more harm than any of my guns.

Is that an official policy barring all firearms, or just ones that are not concealed?

They were specifically non-specific about that in the press release. Just "please leave 'em home". It's not an outright ban, per se, but now managers have the option to ask someone to leave for doing nothing more than carrying, whereas their policy forbade that previously.

All these wimpy businesses cowering to the protests.......thanks in part to a few stupid people trying purposely to flaunt their weapons.
