Teen break-in leads police to weapons stashed in empty home
The amount of stupid in this story hurts...
Quote:LIGONIER, Pa -
Police are trying to figure out who owns an empty, dilapidated western Pennsylvania home - and the 60-plus weapons found inside after police responded to a burglary.

Ligonier police Chief John Berger tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review police must determine if the guns are registered, not to mention who owns them and why they were left behind.

Police found a flintlock muzzle-loader rifle, a TEC-9 machine gun, an AK-47, a Thompson submachine gun, and other assault rifles, long guns, and handguns.

I think I see... Now the 93 year old man is in the wrong for kids breaking into his home and stealing his firearms when he was not present? What exactly entitled the police to remove the weapons from the property as opposed to just arresting the thieves and contacting the owner to have someone secure the property? Those guns look like they are in perfect shape, they don't look like they've been abandoned and just sitting around for years.
Agreed. Address the true crime and criminals instead of manufacturing one.

Admit nothing.  Deny everything. Demand proof.
If we lie to the government, it's a crime. If the government lies to the people, it's called politics.
