So would you have let the Germans continue to run the camps? Up to 44,000 people A DAY were killed in those camps but you would be OK with that?
Two very good opposing points to the discussion. I'm left questioning where I stand on the matter simply from these two posts.
The law? The law is a human institution...

I'd like to say that Europe needs to step up as much as we do, if not more, but the phrase "If you break it, you buy it" comes to mind here.

However, you can't lay all the blame on us for ISIS. They'd hate us no matter what the circumstances.

I don't think we should be getting involved with other nations unless we have previously agreed to be allies for mutual benefit.

Yes, Justin has a long history of supporting death camps and brutal dictators. More details can be found on his web site JustinHatesPuppies.org Rolleyes
And your history of trolling comes around yet again.

As it is in public, YOU, not the police, are responsible for YOUR personal protection. As a nation, WE are responsible for OUR'S. And since, as you put it, "they'd hate us no matter what the circumstances.", we might as well get our money's worth.

We're going to be dealing with ISIS no matter what at some point in the future. We can try to squash it now, or deal with it later after they pull off some large scale event.

But we will be dealing with it. I'm in the "why wait?" group, for better or worse.

There will always be threats; it's an impossible game of whack-a mole.

You are 100% correct, there will always be threats but this is a much bigger "mole" than we have had in past. I would rather keep them as busy as possible over there than have to deal with them here a bit earlier.

I'm guessing you guys nobly mean What Wait to Send OTHER People's Kids to take care of them instead of you flying over to help the Kurds do it.

TBH, I'm on the fence about getting any deeper than we already are. Goodness knows we've done an outstanding job of stabilizing the Mid-east so far.

Semi-rhetorical question: how much did the US accomplish in Serbo-Croatia/Bosnia? Everybody was screaming about atrocities and genocide back then, too.

How about Africa? Let's fix that, too.
