The Logic of Philly City Officials
Last week the PPD held an event to raise awareness about the Fairmount Park rapist. TEN YEARS this rapist/murderer has been on the loose.

Just recently, in defiance of state law, the City decided to allow the mayor to ban guns in city parks, even by people lawfully permitted to carry (I'm sure criminals will comply).

Now that makes a whole lot of sense especially when you consider the number of women that visit the park alone.

The City is really looking out for your safety.

I hike many of the trails in the Wissahickon Valley and pass many women walking alone through the woods. Rabid animals that go on two legs or four may be encountered at any time.
MikeP, just an old guy that smells of garlic.
Sooooo... preemption?
tolerance for failure meter... LOW
That is the point of the meet/march whatever being organized for the 25th of May. Hopefully I'll be able to make it.
When they come for my guns; It is not my right, at that point,
but my responsibility to respond in the name of liberty.
