The most stupid statement ever by a President
#1
You just can't make this shit up.

Bad press, including major mockery of the play by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 billion annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?
It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit..I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."
"The colors, the colors. Has anybody seen my good friend John?" Then he lit up a banana and he hung up.

I need a link....

You know what, why not? The left made up that Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house.

I'd believe this SOB would have said that about our troops. That street trash put down gun owners, so why not vets.

I don't doubt he truly feels that way. I just doubt he would be caught making such a statement.

If true I can't see how FNC wouldn't be running the shit out of it.

Seriously, why don't people bother fact checking these chain mails before posting them and their faux rage?

Some websites say it is false and some claim it to be true. I wonder who is right?
I received this from a good friend of mine but after further review (which I should have done prior to posting) is this an old story.

He said he went to 57..., with one left to go = 58 + he wasn't able to go to Alaska and Hawaii = 60.

What websites say it's true? If they are, I'd stop reading them if I were you, because it simply isn't, and they're misinforming their readership.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again..., there is plenty of factual information for which to dislike Obama as President. There really is no need to make shit up, or spread chain mail.
