Christie: NRA ad with Obama daughters ‘reprehensible’
Blunt-speaking New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, thought to be eyeing a 2016 run for the Republican presidential nomination, blasted an NRA ad that mentions President Barack Obama's daughters as "reprehensible" and warned it "demeans" the powerful gun-rights group.
"To talk about the president’s children, or any public officer’s children, who have—not by their own choice, but by requirement—to have protection, and to use that somehow to try to make a political point is reprehensible," Christie said.

He recognizes the changing demographics and wants to run in 2016.

I suspect he is going to switch political parties.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

But it's ok for the president to pose with children during his last speech to make a political point?

I can't stand when they use children to make a point. Wasn't sure if it was true or not but FB had a photo going around with Hitler doing gun control surrounded by children. Such propaganda.

Of course, as someone else on FB pointed out...they use children for everything except promoting Planned Parenthood. Dodgy

And yeah, Christie talks big and he's funny to listen to sometimes but he just makes his speeches depending on how the personal advancement wind is blowing that particular week....

So the NRA can not talk about his daughters but the President and every other anti can use the deaths of 20 children in Newtown as well as pose with the survivors in order to push for gun bans?

Give me a break. When the antis stop shouting "Think of the children" then I will be more apt to agree that children are off limits.

He likes being famous/powerful too much. All politicians do, but you can tell Christie has taken it to the next level.

There is no way Christie would ever get my vote after his behavior the last few months.

Christie is pissed about our side using the example of BHO's daughters being safer than our kids because they don't like it when we point out the disparity. Class warfare right back at ya. Why should their school deserve better safety than our kids' schools?

Clinton did it back in 2000 and the NRA is still suggesting it. We need to run with that.
I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every minute of it.
