Time stamps

You're going to have to check the time settings on your computer AND in your User CP for the forum. Wink

Not sure what D10 is seeing but for me the forum clock is stamping like it moved forward an hour not back, so my 12:09 post looks like it was posted at 2:09.

Oh I see, try -5.

I kept missing checking my personal forum setting, which in itself was odd because it was still set an hour ahead but was stamping two hours ahead, somehow it was on -4 now it's -5 and all is back to normal, man all the time travel made me dizzy, which wasn't cool because I'm still sick, 7 fucking days now.

Thank you. I didn't notice it until I saw this thread and went back to my last post and sure enough, I posted it tomorrow. I went to the User CP and looked around, searched, dug and finally found it. I was set at GMT-4 instead of GMT-5 and the DST auto detect was selected, the two together were creating a 2 hour difference.
I fixed it now, and I suppose I'll have to make an adjustment again in the spring, or maybe not, the clock in my car and the one in the bathroom are correct now and I haven't touched them for a few years. It drives other people nuts but I don't care. Everyone else moved their clock back, I moved mine sideways. Shrug

Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.

About halfway down on the left is "Edit Options." Click that and on the bottom left of that page you can address the timestamp issue.
