Traveling to Delaware and I have questions
#1
I did some searching and I have the basic information I need around CCW in delware but I wanted to throw out some other questions I had after searching.

Now I already realize that they don't honor's PA's CCW however I recently received my Arizona CCW to add to my existing Pennsylvania CCW. So now I am good in terms of reciprocity with Delaware since they honor Arizona's CCW (reference http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/delaware.pdf). It also looks as if Delaware isn't a "shall inform" state so that's a plus.

So anyway, on to my questions:
  1. As long as I stay out of the Eastern Bloc (NJ), can I carry the whole way down I-95 straight into Delaware or do Interstate Transport Laws apply and as such I would need to lock it up?
  2. Are there any weird places I cannot carry or any goofy rules that you guys can think of? Didn't find any in my search but I figured I'd ask.
  3. Can you guys confirm that Delaware is not a shall inform state? Looks like not but I figured it would be best to double check.
  4. Are there any weird mag limits there?

Thanks!

Yes, with your Arizona CCW you can carry in your vehicle, loaded, open or concealed, just as you can in PA.
  2. Are there any weird places I cannot carry or any goofy rules that you guys can think of? Didn't find any in my search but I figured I'd ask.
Dover has some weird laws that are grandfathered in but I can't recall exactly what they are. If you travels down I-95 won't take you through Delaware than don't worry about Dover. Also, you have no protection from the 1000' federal Gun Free school Zone Act. Again, traveling through on I-95 won't be an issue.
  3. Can you guys confirm that Delaware is not a shall inform state? Looks like not but I figured it would be best to double check.
Confirm here: http://www.handgunlaw.us/ by clicking on "DE". You can also raise these same questions in the forum section of DelawareOpenCarry at deloc.org
  4. Are there any weird mag limits there?
None that I am aware of, but the above sites should help you there.

Thanks!

I researched heavily for my trip earlier in the year. Sadly my AZ CWP didn't arrive in time. The laws in Dover are for open carry. You are good to go concealed. You do not have to inform (and from the usual horror stories I would strongly recommend against doing so), and there are no goofy mag limits. Hope this helps.
The law? The law is a human institution...

I thought that was the case with Dover but wasn't sure about CC there.

Thank you very much for the info.

I am going to be heading to the beach so I won't be heading over to Dover this time. However that is good information in case my travels take me that way for a race in the future.

So if you have a PA LTCF and a UTAH you can carry concealed down 95 through new castle de? Any rules about shopping, banks, bars etc, places that serve alcohol?

As stated before there's no duty to inform.

Restaurants serving alcohol is OK.
Rest Areas are OK.
State parks, forests and reserves are a no go.
No other special prohibited areas I know of.
No special laws about posted "No Gun" signs that I'm aware of either.

I am a fallible human and am frequently wrong about things. Double check everything I wrote above since this is all from memory and to the best of my knowledge.
Ammunition, it's the new lead bullion. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

If republicans ever take the senate and presidency (while maintaining the house), the first thing they need to do is pass constitutional carry. There should be no reason why LTCFs can't be honored by every state like driver's licenses.
