I do wonder though, what happens to all the guns that Dick's currently had in inventory? It isn't like they can send them back to the manufacturer, can they?
If DSG did not pay for them then hell yes they can be sent back.

Don't stores have to pay for the inventory that they're carrying?

They could of had a 90 day invoice.
The Second Amendment does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not infringe our right.

Most do, but depending on the agreement between the retailer and supplier, not so much.

yes but it depends on the terms in the contract. When I did service work for the federal gov. I knew it would be up to 6 months before i would get paid. some contracts are 30, 60, 90 or 120 days net

They'll swap 'em for some sneakers at a big city gun buy-back and stock the shelves with those.

I suspect that Troy will have very little difficulty finding another distributor...though I do hope they sue the balls off Dicks...

most big chain stores have little or no money tied up in invatory. the stuff is stocked by the jobber or the manufacturer then when it is sold it is paid for.

that is how the big stores run the mon and pop out of business. the little guy has to pay for the stuff when it comes in. the big stores the stuff is stocked for free.

DSG is traded on the NYSE. I guess that explains allot! I hope the share holder ask WTF is going on? Perhaps the finanical loss on share holders will force DSG to again sell AR15's and related products. I also hope DSG is forced to honor the contract with Troy, or Pay out in the form of a law suit.

Speaking for myself I will never spend a dime in DSG unless they change their ways!
