U.N. Seeks Control of the Internet
#1
U.S. congressional resolutions and much of the commentary, including in this column, have focused on proposals by authoritarian governments to censor the Internet.

"Having the Internet rewired by bureaucrats would be like handing a Stradivarius to a gorilla. The Internet is made up of 40,000 networks that interconnect among 425,000 global routes, cheaply and efficiently delivering messages and other digital content among more than two billion people around the world, with some 500,000 new users a day. ...

The US is ridiculous to give ANY authority to the UN. What's in it for us???

I've probably said this about 1,000,000 times here, but WE NEED TO WITHDRAW FROM THE UN! The UN should be for maintaining peace through diplomacy, NOT CREATING LAWS AND REGULATING ANYTHING!

John McCain has been trying to give the government the ability to censor the government for years (when he's not drafting indefinite detention clauses). And people still vote to keep him in office because he's got an ® next to his name. Frankly, I'm more afraid of authoritarian congress critters selling out our freedoms than the UN.

I'm way more afraid of a POTUS who has publicly stated he is anti gun, sides with the UN on gun control, has killed American civilians without trial, has given weapons to foreign criminals, has curtailed every opportunity to advance Americas ability to generate energy, views the US Constitution as a hindrance, divided the nation and has the opportunity to stuff the Supreme Court with as many leftist retreads as possible than I am with a senile old coot
