Mexican cartels are recruiting hit men from the U.S. military, offering big money to highly-trained soldiers to carry out contract killings and potentially share their skills with gangsters south of the border, according to law enforcement experts

Some how, this is just now becoming news? I had heard rumor of this like this when I first enlisted back in the late 80's. LOL

Isn't there currently a problem with gang membership in the military too? Gang members joining for the training and the potential to steal weapons?

Streaker, it's been a problem since I enlisted in 1988. Don't see it getting any better anytime soon since the US Military is very active as it pertains to affirmative action.

I saw a stat not long ago that the US Government has over 25% of it's employees are black. Funny, the black population is what, 12%? So twice as many blacks are employed than the national average. Talk about over compensation.

Same if not worse for military. Regardless of criminal history, credit history, drug history, recruiting minorities is the #1 priority. Now, there are white criminals and latino/Hispanic etc...but by and large, it's black gang members.

Half the muscle the cartels have are ex Mexican military who deserted and brought their issue weapons with them. A great number of those guns were supplied to the Mexican military as aid from the US gov't.

Hey if Holder and Obama are supporting the cartels why not ramp up military involvement as well. It only makes sense...
