Anyone have any dealings with them? What are your thoughts about what they offer?

I'm a life member. For your membership, they offer a lot of educational material on top of the protection services. Their product offering is pretty unique. Most places don't offer any kind of funding for your defense (if you are found innocent) after a self defense shooting. It would still be a long, hard row through the legal system but at least money shouldn't be an issue as on as you are on the up and up.

God forbid you mention anything about open carry. The ignorance level there is high

I think you are confusing USCCA with US Concealed Carry. USCCA doesn't have a forum.

No confusion on my part at all. The comments in all of their Facebook posts pretty much sums it up. Who mentioned a forum?

More concerned on how is their magazine? Do they incessantly push the insurance? Are the articles pertinent and well written? Anyone ever hear of any reports of people that had to use the insurance?

Thanks.

The insurance is part of the membership, so membership is a bit pricey. I'm sure they make a nice chunk of change off of it. Compared to what I've seen offered by the NRA though, it's cheap. Especially for what coverage they offer. To my knowledge, no one has used their insurance yet. I hope to God I never do. If I do, I hope it prevents me from being innocent and bankrupt because of the lengthy court proceedings and the blood sucking lawyers.

Their magazine articles seem fine to me. Not every articles catches my interest but they are writing to many different crowds of people.

Concerning your previous comment about open carry. If someone wishes to open carry and deal with the baggage that comes with it from other people's reactions, more power to them. I don't disrespect someone for doing it, I just choose not to deal with all the drama that can come with it due to all the Hollywood and Main Stream Media brain washing over citizens carrying guns. Especially with these loons who will file a false police report because they are mad they see someone open carrying. So, all the respect to you and others who to choose to do so, you just won't see me doing it unless I'm out in the woods hunting.

Interesting that you brought this up as I don't believe that I have ever said anything on this forum about open carry. There are other forums out there that I may have stated my opinion about it but I don't believe I've said anything here (yet). Plus that comment has nothing to do with what I was asking about USCCA.

Just a follow up remark to your observation on their stance about open carry in post #3. I'm not really sure if you are an active open carry person or not and it doesn't matter to me either way.
