Veff Serrations added (11/12/13 UPDATE)
#1
Sent my original Camillus BK7 and the new Blackhawk Gideon to Tom Veff for serrations to be added and his special sharpening. Blades are are their way home but Tom sent me a pic. They look kick-ass!

Thanks! Serrations are $10 each, sharpening is $1 an inch for most steels. Turn around without shipping is about 10 days.

Wow. Just one of those little "curves" cost twice what my entire knife cost.

Big Grin

Interesting though. I never would have guessed that people add serrations "aftermarket".
Nice looking knives and the work looks clean, and even.

I purposely put the flash on to try and bring out how polished the edges now are. They are absolutely smooth, and there's no feeling of the edge "bite". The almost don't feel sharp... until you press just a bit, and it's like a scalpel.

This last on is my old Gerber MK-II that I had broken the very tip on. Mr Veff re-shaped the tip and gave the polished sharpening. The tip is a bit thicker now than factory, but it is sharp as a needle!
