That's a new one on me. I've had some really good venison bologna, my uncle made kickass jerky and my dad always made damn good sausage but I've never heard of venison hot dogs.

Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.

From time to time I hear people rave about hot dogs they got from this processor or that one. I got a third deer, so this is going to be my experimental venison. Think I may do venison chops too. Been wanting to try that a long time.

A year or two ago I got some deer dogs (with cheese) from a processor in Mechanicsburg, PA and they were the best damn hot dogs I've ever had in my life. The were also the most expensive, coming in at just under $5 a pound.

But to answer your question: http://bit.ly/12wagkX

Find that sounds good to you and give it a try. Most call for a pound of venison and a pound of pork/beef.
