Good bit of safety education.

I wouldn't allow any bolt to slam shut without the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Or close an action for that matter.

Firing pins have been known to get stuck in the deployed position, meaning the action of closing the bold can discharge a round.

But as the man points out, with the type of action in question it's inevitable.
