Interestingly, Indiana passed a law several months ago to protect religious business freedom, and they were boycotted across the nation.

Yet VA throws reciprocity under the bus and nobody complains.

Evidently, the government doesn't see gun owners as a loud enough group to need to worry about them.

Size doesn't enter into the equation. The Republican Party is stereotyped as the party of the: old, white, gun owning, bible thumping, men.... Anything to the contrary, the liberal Democrats band together to attack, and do so by demonizing and marginalizing.

LOL....not sure if this is a reputable website? Supposedly they are thinking about defunding the governor's security detail?

They CAN be a good source of information but I would cross check with other sites on what they put up. In this particular case, while I find it humorous, I doubt it's true.

There is a lot of info that numerous sites get from the same source. I don't know if this particular item is true or not, but defunding weapons for the people who make these laws for the rest of us is an idea with much merit.
I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every minute of it.

My initial thought was, Wow! Virginia?
But then I realized that their governor is probably more liberal than ours, and look what happened here over the past year.

Does the Virginia legislature have the votes to override a governor veto?

I need to. Plus I have family in Utah.
I'm a Utah Instructor. I do have a class coming up in February at DVSC.

I avoid any state that does not recognize my right to life, no more trips to Virginia Beach for me.
And no, I refuse to pay for a Utah permit so another state can benefit from my vacation money, so that's out for me.

Looks like Ohio and W.VA for driving trips.
Utah runs its concealed carry department on a net zero basis. They reduced the fee in February 2014.
