Warren Buffet: Fed has no more bullets...
#1
Warren Buffet recently gave an interview on BBC Radio 4. His comments, as reported in the Daily Telegraph give us much to ponder.
Quote: The billionaire investor said that it was now up to Congress to help boost America's flagging recovery.

Speaking in an interview broadcast on Radio 4's Today Programme, he said: "I think [the Fed] has used up its bullets pretty much. When you drive interest rates to zero and when you buy almost a trillion dollars worth of securities and how you start buying longer-term securities -- you've done your part. I mean, Ben has given up the office."

Funny, I thought it was the .gov's job to stay out of the economy and let the free market take care of itself. You know, like capitalism should work.

Remember though, this president suggested a new cabinet level office, Secretary of Business. Funny though, I thought that would kind of fall under the provisions that gave us the Secretary of Commerce. Shrug
