RocketFoot can you please put the weapons shield ad in the deals section? I would like to buy some and if you get a cut from it I would rather buy it here. Thanks. das

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

I wanted to start a thread about Weapon Shield but wasn't sure where to put it. I've tried it and I like it, I've found it to be great for other things too.
The thread title I would use would be "Other uses for Weapon Shield".
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had a need for a drop of oil and had Weapon Shield handy and tried it only to find it amazing for more than gun CLP.
There are three types of people in the world:
Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.

The lock on my storage shed was getting pretty weathered and hard to open, just one drop of Weapon Shield into the key hole and one drop on each side of the body where the shackle goes into it made a world of difference. Any oil will work but this stuff didn't need any time to penetrate or get "worked in", it just freed it up immediately and it's been free ever since. This lock has been out in the weather for years and slowly showing it's age. Last winter when I would have expected it to be frozen it still worked smooth as silk. Since then I've tried it on hinges, latches and other friction points and found it to be great stuff wherever I put it.
Has anyone else used it for an application that wouldn't normally be associated with gun oil? What was your opinion?
I've also started putting a drop on each of my wheel lugs when I rotate/change tires. Any oil will work there but I have my Weapon Shield handy and it's my 'go to' oil now.

Is this the right place for this or is there a better place to start a thread extolling the virtues of this all purpose CLP?
Gear and Accessories would be fine for a WS thread! And I agree...it is excellent for all types of applications!

New thread in the http://www.pa2a.org/forum-gear-accessories section I think would be better than the site feedback area.

I use it more for "other" things than for firearms.

I put a few drops on my hedge trimmer blades.
Door hinges/knobs/latches.
Gate hinge. (WOW! Gate has never moved so freely)
Mower parts.
Tailgate hinge.
Just about anything.
