Plenty of semi-auto shutguns tho... although I dunno why anyone would want a SASG and pay double for it when most of them only do 5 shells plus are a royal bitch when they jam.

Try shooting trap doubles or skeet with a pump, you'll know why a semi-auto is better, although the preferred gun is a O/U for those sports.

I have an old Browning A5 Humpback semi-auto, made in 1954, never jammed once on me, I shoot trap all the time with it.

My first shotgun was a Remington 12 ga semi-auto back around 1980.

Man was that thing a jammomatic. Ejection port-was too small, IMO.

I got rid of it a few years back.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

I finally gave in a year ago and decided I needed an AR. I was going to pick up a Stag Model 2 but found the Mk 12 SPR and decided that was what I wanted in an AR. Started shopping around and put two pistols up for sale. Bought a lower and a mostly complete parts kit. It had everything from the barrel nut back. Ordered a Yankee Hill Smooth Quadrail, DPMS 18" heavy stainless barrel and other assorted bits. Built it from scratch except the barreling. The gunsmith I worked with wouldn't let me borrow the tools so he did it for me. Have about $900 total in the gun including taxes and shipping. If I had the money, I'd be putting an M4gery together.

I'm not saying they can't, or don't, but I have two, the old Browning and a Winchester, neither has jammed on me and I don't clean them as often as I should either. I do keep 'em oiled though.
