Well you could buy a new toy because you needed a creative way to present the ring at the range.....?

She got me a Civil War era Enfield rifle for Xmas so I really can't complain. My birthday and Xmas are close to each other so she usually ends up financing my next gun purchases anyways. For Xmas this year I got us a private "modern" cabin in Gettysburg from a Thursday to Sunday.

I think NEXT January we're going to start looking at houses. You can still find an old 3 or 4 bedroom farm house with 5-8 acres of land for $250-300k.

Time to grow up, Eh. Wink She's worth it!

Gun prices are dropping pretty regularly right now as the liberal politicians haven't come up with a new crisis to exploit (yet). I believe they will come down a bit more, especially since the election went they way of the Republicans (notice I said Repubs, not conservatives).

Unless the President does something, gun prices will probably go a bit lower and then stabilize so grabbing something before Christmas may or may not be a good deal, just depends on what the retailers see for the future. If they see prices falling even more, the sales won't be as great as they have to recoup the money spent on their current inventory.

I have 2 NIB rifles right now that I'm trying to sell (Ruger American in .308 and a nice Bushmaster) that were both from people that were denied. I know that they will not get back what they paid for them.
