What if? - Post Ban decisions
#1
For point of discussion, lets say the AWB comes back because the Obama administration Fucked us with the dicks of the traitorous pro-gun politicians.

What types of rifles would be available?

Could I still get a Mini 14? 10/22?

What was the 'markup' of pre-ban ARs, meaning...what 600 DPMS go for post ban when the panic buying is over?

Could I still get a Thompson even with a 10 round magazine?

Would they make ARs with fixed stocks or ban friendly versions?

I didn't get into the hobby until after the AWB sunset, so I didn't really notice anything missing because I didn't know what I didn't miss.

I don't know about AR mags, as I didn't buy any AR's until after the ban expired. But I remember used G19 15 round magazines selling for $90+ at gun shows. If you wanted a new one, they were selling for over $100.

Its my opinion that Feinstein's legislation eliminates the concept of pre ban. We really need Gunlawyer to chime in on this. Ive seen her comment about the ban being "prospectively" likened to when marijuana was prohibited. You could sell it, possess it and smoke it yesterday but do any of that tomorrow and you go to jail.

I don't think they're so brash as to think they can get a bill approved that makes us turn in or destroy our existing guns. I could imagine them making hi-cap mags illegal to buy/sell.

Feinstein thinks she can walk over the whole nation the way she walked over California, where she first required them registered, then made them illegal to sell, transfer or possess.
