What is your preferred home defense weapon?
#21
I sleep with either a Sig P229 or an M&P 9c on my nightstand. I also have one of my AR15s loaded up in my bedroom in case there were to be a SHTF event while I sleep. Because of the building material used and the location of my bedroom, over penetration is of no concern to me.

Glock 23 loaded with 165gr Hornady Critical Defense.

I sleep pretty well at night.

Mossberg 500A.

My Springfield XD-9 is never far away, though, and might be the better choice in complete darkness with the night sights.
When they come for my guns; It is not my right, at that point,
but my responsibility to respond in the name of liberty.

Ideally, a shotgun with slugs or a semi-auto rifle. Most of the time, though, a handgun is my go-to weapon because it is usually closer.

My only practical firearm. My RIA 1911. It was my AR-15 when I still had it.

The same thing that happened to my Taurus 689 and GSG 1911, I decided to buy a motorcycle and didn't want to wait until next year.
