Clean it and prep it for the next time you go shooting.

Would you throw out a knife you cut yourself with? It's not the tool's fault.

I think you need to know if there's anything wrong with the gun before making that decision. Unless you're talking a purely emotional decision because of the shooting.

If it is defective, then I wouldn't be able to, in good conscience, sell it to someone else.

Either keep it, or have it destroy, IMO.

Keep it. As Garp said, "it's pre-disastered." What are the chances of someone shooting themselves twice with the same gun? Big Grin

Hasn't it been a reliable sidearm?
Keep it.

Disable it.

Frame it.

Hang it somewhere visible, so you never forget what it did to you, and to use as a training tool for others.

Sue it to cover medical bills as well as pain and suffering.

What do you do with a motorcycle you crashed, fix it and ride. A truck you crashed, fix it and drive it.

That gun has no personality, spirit or anything evil about it. Have a good smith or the company that made the competition trigger go over it then clean it and use it....................or send it to me.
