When it's all over, how long?
#1
How long will it take for the manufacturers to get back to having their products on the shelves when everything dies down?

I know they are all working hard, but they have to satisfy orders and then get any surpluses into the dealers hands. And not just firearms but accessories, ammo, reloading supplies, etc.

Just want to see what everyone thinks.

Who knows.

I do think we could have problems at the state level if Corbett loses, which it's seeming more likely. On top of that, what will happen with the federal midterms, if the house goes dem we are in trouble there too.

Stock up on what you can when you can, don't expect this to end. The progs see the endzone, we're in their way and they aren't giving up anytime soon.

That was if things stay the same without any further gov/leo orders submitted.
I have a feeling that there will be quite a few more priority orders before things return to "normal".

I think it's going to be a while. Before, most people were content to buy as they go or to just hold a few boxes. Now, the people who have nothing are going to want to stock up for the next time this happens. When the price starts to come down, bulk purchases will go up.

My thoughts exactly. People will be buying everything up and hiding it away for at least another six months.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

Another 21.6 million rounds ordered. 30 day delivery.

(that brings the 10 month total rounds bid/received to about 1.625 billion)

I heard most ammo companies all ready have orders backordered until December 2013. If I don't get into reloading, then I probably won't shoot as often this year. Even if I do get into reloading, I still probably won't shoot as often.
