No, I don't agree with that. Unless you mean being proud of who you are and not ashamed of being born the way you were.

That I support. But I do not support favoring someone else because you're the same race. And feeling more comfortable around people "like you" is not favoring, favoring is special treatment IMHO.

Your reading something into my post that's not there.

Sorry....cant get used to it. You handle it your way....I will handle it mine. At least you have the guts and come right out and say you are racist. Thank you for your honesty.

Yes streaker, that is true. But coming out and saying that an entire race is stupid doesnt set well with me.

Here's a thought, if we live in a "post racial society" why is interracial marriage still a fairly rare statistical occurrence? It's because in general whites prefer whites, blacks prefer blacks, hispanics prefer hispanics in the liberal sense of the world anyone who prefers relationships with their own race is racist at some level. Personally, I don't see the problem with people exercising preference over their own. Non white - non-white pairings are extremely rare even within the already rare subset of interracial marriages as a whole.

Still, I find it interesting that they preach all of this tolerance of everyone else whether it be their religious beliefs (or lack thereof), sexual preference, etc yet it's always a one way street. I fail to see the problem with a person being racist so long as they don't abuse the focus of their hate or take some action against them. Racial separatism for example is a belief like any other whose perception of whether it is right or wrong depends on one's world view. The constitution as it was written protects your right to be a racist if you so choose. Regardless, of where you stand on the issues it is entirely undeniable that anti-discrimination laws and regulations do nothing but erode the rights granted to us by the founders.

If a white person hates a black person, the black person also has the equal right and choice to hate the white person. So long as they don't do anything beyond glare at each other from across the street I fail to see the problem with that. It sure would be nice if everyone could get along and hold hands, but that's a fantasy that will not happen until as a result of frequent global travel that everyone becomes some shade of brown and the concept of ethnicity fades away. When you try to force people to act against their own will or what they perceive as their own interests all you do is perpetuate racial division and racism as a whole. There are way more people that stopped being KKK members after personal interactions with a person of another race than people who are forced to act a certain way or be accepting of something because they are being pressured too by some outside entity. I interact with everyone pretty much the same until they give me reason to believe otherwise, but if someone starts coming up to me talking about how I should feel "privileged" or guilty because I was born white or that black people can't be racist because they have no "power" I'm going to put you in your place (verbally). That's because the aforementioned liberal concepts which are being foisted upon us by society are equally racist and represent a blatant double standard. If you utter the phrase "black pride" you are celebrating your heritage and it's seen as a positive, but if you say "white pride" you're automatically a nazi skin head and if you say it in a public place you'll have no standing in your community and possibly lose your job. I say it again and again but that sort of thing is what causes racism in our modern world specifically.

There was a widely publicized case of an Imperial Wizard of the Klan named Rodger Kelly who over time though his interactions and meetings with a black guy who eventually gave up the Klan. I somehow doubt that ever would have happened if the government forced the KKK member and this black dude to play nicey nice in the sandbox.

I've said it a million times but my wife is asian and the only over racism she experiences by and large on a regular basis comes from blacks. It's a fact and stating something like that does not make you a racist. Personally, I blame the degradation of the family unit among the black community to be a major source of the culture of violence and crime that exists today as well as the loss of values in the inner cities. Again, saying that makes you a racist for simply stating what everyone is actually thinking. I'm rather amazed that Goofin even used the politically correct terminology which I think personally think is also bullshit. You're an American first, not a resident of a place you've never been or don't give a shit about unless you were born there.

Very well said.
The only thing needed for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing.
