White House Petition to Charge David Gregory for Illegal Mag Possession
#1
exclamation
Press charges against David Gregory for possession of a 30-round, high capacity assault rifle magazine in Washington D.C

Quote:Press charges against David Gregory for possession of a 30-round, high capacity assault rifle magazine in Washington D.C

David Gregory is not above the law; he is a journalist, and must be held accountable to the same law as every other person.

DC High Capacity Ammunition Magazines – D.C. Official Code 7-2506.01

(b) No person in the District shall possess, sell, or transfer any large capacity ammunition feeding device regardless of whether the device is attached to a firearm. For the purposes of this subsection, the term large capacity ammunition feeding device means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

We The People demand that he be formally charged for violation of this law on "Meet The Press."
Created: Dec 23, 2012

This petition is in regard to David Gregory's "interview" with Wayne LaPierre.

Done. When nothing happens it will certainly reinforce that they don't even support the laws that are already out there.

I laughed heartily as I read that.

Never gonna happen, but it sure as hell makes for a good case of favoritism.

Done.

Has it been confirmed that the show was actually taped in Washington DC?

1. How did he obtain the 30 rd magazine?
2. How many of his staff handled it?

It may be a number of the staff could face charges (As if the liberal press and the Obama Administration would ever allow it)

As much as I hate these sorts of laws... maybe a real-life example of the stupidity of these laws will start to change the MSM's mind. Doubtful, but one can hope!

Unless the exemption is written in the law, it doesn't exist.

Gregory might have picked it up in Virginia where it's OK and drove it in or had it driven in.

Either way, it's pretty clear that he violated city statutes if that's a functioning mag.

Doesn't matter where it came from. Simply having it within the district is against the law.
