I blame everybody. Senate Dems aren't going to sign anything unless it funds Obamacare. The House knows this too. The Senate Dems also don't care how fucked up Obamacare is. Also both the House and Senate are still getting paid and don't have to sign up for Obamacare.

At fault the most, hmmm.......... I'm going to say the idiots who voted for Obamacare in 2010. Honestly, I'm just pissed at everyone.....the dems, the republicans, the president, and today's society who doesn't give a fuck about the country and just wants entitlements. If I was ready to retire, I'd move to somewhere desolate.

Personally... I'm not losing any sleep. I say let it stay shutdown. Let's see the fallout.

The House R and Congressional D's are equally to blame. One party saying the other won't compromise is hilarious. I'm ready to vomit reading liberal media though.

You wouldn't be able to run as many people over with that car if it didn't drive as far. It should only have a 10 gallon fuel tank.

This is where I'm at with it. As I said previously, Obama is going to emerge from this a hero somehow.

Sadly this isn't going to inspire any sort of monumental change. At some point everything is going to go back to business as usual. IMO this should become the permanent state of the government with all these "non essential" positions and programs removed from the government umbrella. I almost can't say that with a straight face though because the odds of it ever happening are precisely 0.
The law? The law is a human institution...

Agreed. The implied panic makes me laugh. What's really going to happen? Some parks and museums are closed for a few days, and some hardly missed, (I won't say not missed, 'cause that's just mean, these are just people with jobs), are furloughed for a few days, a week, a month... and then they finally come to agreement and everything goes back to the status quo.

Let's shut down the FDA, EPA, FBI, CIA and a few other 3 letter agencies and see if we miss them. Now that, I'd almost be willing to pay to see!

The tell tale failure in our country was blatantly obvious in a CNN article I read that pointed out that the Federal Government was the nations largest employer.
