this is a discussion forum. if you don't want people replying to your threads, don't create them.

I was curious to see the links for people you're accusing of making 'veiled statements' supporting Obama. I'm not sure if I seen any at all on this forum. of course I could of missed them which is why I asked for links.

It just means he can't.

I won't be voting for Obama, but Bill Maher made some good points about the BS we didn't have to deal with under Obama, that we'll get under Romney.

"When you elect Mitt, you're not just electing him. You're electing every right-wing nut he's pandered to in the last ten years. If the "Mitt-mobile" does roll into Washington, it'll be towing behind it the whole anti-intellectual, anti-science freak show: the abstinence obsessives, the flat-earthers, home-schoolers, the holy warriors, the anti-women, social Neanderthals, the closeted homosexuals, and every end-timer who sees the Virgin Mary in the grass over the septic tank.

Now, I understand having issues with Obama. But, stop to think of all the crap we haven't had to deal with in the last four years. Anybody remember Terri Schiavo? Obama isn't perfect, but he never turned the entire federal government into a Jesus-freak episode of 'House.'

And he doesn't have an attorney general like John Ashcroft, who once covered up a statue at the Justice Department because it was showing too much tit. Like it was Janet Jackson.

I'm just saying, last four years, no crises about boobies. No controversies about whether stem cells are actually tiny people. No Defense of Marriage Act. No Office of Faith-Based Initiatives. No peddling creationism at the national parks.

Did you know that before Obama got in, the Smithsonian couldn't mention global warming as a possible reason the glaciers were shrinking, because heat melting ice was just a theory?

Yes, that was our daily diet of turd under the last "sensible, business-minded Republican moderate.""

I'm staying the course and not playing the two party game anymore, despite the fear of the SCOTUS appointments from another thread. If I vote for Obama, I support all the BS economic policies that I don't like, I support wars that I don't like, and I support "green energy" and other BS energy policies that I don't like.

If I vote Romney, I support all of that right wing anti-gay, anti-women, anti-science, etc party platform BS that I don't like, I support wars that I don't like, I support an unnecessary increase in military spending and I support BS economic policies that I don't like.

I have to vote for a candidate that is the best of both worlds. Not sure why I let myself get side tracked on that to begin with.

I'm glad you decided not to vote for Romney in the upcoming election!

Bill Maher...he is the self appointed leader of the mainstream "intellectual elite" who encompasses every negative trait in everyone he listed in his tirade. You don't think he would march every Christian or conservative into a death camp so that he cold wallow around with the likes of him, who follows his own ideals?

You'd be pretty naive to think he wouldn't.

Indeed. I don't give him anymore credit than I do any of the others. I just happen to personally identify with this rant, and I agree with it.

I have no idea of his voting record as jr. politician back in Chicago.
Romney voting record in Mass. on the 2nd Amend, is far from friendly.

In the last debate Romney seemed to agree with Obama on
the reinstatement of AWB.
Its anyones guess on Romneys action, as President, as to the
2nd 'A'.

Lets all be honest here- we have no idea where Romney stands
on anything---his postion switches from one speech to another.

I am complete disappointed with the whole election, the choices we have and the way it turned into a TV show.

Romney said no to new gun laws or gun control.
