Who Wants Obama to Win?

This is why I asked for links since I haven't seen any such thing on the site to my knowledge.

Well in defense of the OP, he said "veiled," in that the person wouldn't be "openly" supporting Obama. Probably because of some "fear" of admonishment from the readership here.

This was/is the OP's attempt to "call them out."

this is a discussion forum. if you don't want people replying to your threads, don't create them.

I was curious to see the links for people you're accusing of making 'veiled statements' supporting Obama. I'm not sure if I seen any at all on this forum. of course I could of missed them which is why I asked for links.

You can reply all you want. I can ignore you since you always want to create straw men and spurious arguments.

I'll make my original post more simple since the term veiled has some panties in a bunch. If you want Obama to be re-elected tell us why. This is a pro 2A forum. He's already talking about instituting AR bans and other gun control laws. Don't tell me about Romney's 2A position or Johnson's wonderful way with children and animals or Bush's whatever. All that is defection.

It's a simple question. If you want Obama re-elected tell us why.

Stupid iPad auto-correct. Defection=deflection.

Fair enough, but I haven't seen any "veiled" support either. The attempt to call them out seems to have failed.

Well, without specific examples, I don't think we can be too sure what he means by that. There is no one here that I think to be a "closet" Obama supporter.

Can't answer your questions as I am reluctantly voting for Romney, but think it is unfair painting anyone who is a liberal or voting for Obama for whatever reason is a troll and should not be on this forum. I know a few liberals who are pro gun but don't make it their only/primary issue. Kind of a broad brush.
Everytime we look the other way when someone else loses rights we disagree with, we make it easier to lose the rights we support.

How am I creating strawmans and spurious arguments by asking to see the threads/posts where people were supporting Obama?

To be fair I deleted the post, but I flat-out will vote for Obama before I vote for the backstabbing doublespeaker (a.k.a. liar) Romney.

Obama needs a cooperative congress to get gun control through, he won't have one. Romney will have one and has proven with his record that he is perfectly okay throwing gun control and increased fees on gun owners so long as he can get one 'progun' person to stand next to him when it's signed.

The Republican party is proven to sellout gun owners when they can get away with it, just look at Reagan and the gun control he signed and argued for both as governor and as President. He even used the Presidential pulpit to call for international arms control. So the outright lie that the Republican party will be defenders of our rights when one of their own is at the helm who has no issue attacking them is one I will not fall for.

Furthermore with Obama I don't get the ultraright dominated Presidency calling for athe constitutional amendment banning gay marraige or preventing rape victims from having an abortion, I don't get a reinstitution of 'don't ask don't tell' and other bullshit laws of that nature.

So while you cry about some suppossed doomsday that will occur if Obama wins I'll sit back and watch you fall in love with a twofaced liar that will sell you out whenever he can. Like I said prepare to be governed by a liberal, at least I know the positions of the man I'll be voting for.
