Will Sandy help Obama in the Election
#1
Nothing like a natural disaster for the President to use in the upcoming election. My question is has Sandy helped?

I really don't care about NJ or NY, Obama already had those states in his pocket.... what about PA? Does his actions now swing voters?

What actions? Is he finally acting like a president and I missed if?
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

All I can say in regards to the storm damaged areas and the election is to get ready to hear the word "disenfranchised" - a LOT.

I don't see how it hurts him unless he ignores it, which obviously he is not. It's been a gift.

Yep. And bring it on. No where do I see any language in the CotUS that guarantees the right to vote near the level the 2A guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. If we need to go through major inconveniences to exercise our rights, well I don't see a problem with some slight inconveniences* for people to vote. If it is that important to you: find a way.

*And, yes, I do consider some road closures, downed power lines, and a loss of power a slight inconvenience for potential voters

The lazy and unmotivated voters will stay home if there's even a slight inconvenience.

Advantage: Romney

I guess that's why Obama has had all his people voting early.

When the takers are still sitting in a puddle of water with no electric on Tuesday, I doubt they will be jumping up and down to thank Obama by voting for him.
I'd say they are going to be pissed that they don't have their gift cards like the Katrina people got and might take it out on the One.

I thought this was interesting: http://news.yahoo.com/tempers-flare-nj-c...18266.html

All those people mad at the government for not getting their supplies to them fast enough. I'm pretty sure there was more than adequate warning about this storm. More than enough time to get to the store, and there's more than enough information out there about what types of supplies to get, and yet these idiots are still looking to the nanny government for handouts.
